Boss of Hammerson UK Retail quits for family reasons
Lawrence Hutchings, Managing Director of property company Hammerson's UK retail operations, is to step down from the business at the end of September for family reasons.
Lawrence Hutchings, Managing Director of property company Hammerson's UK retail operations, is to step down from the business at the end of September for family reasons.
Lawrence, a member of Hammerson's Group Executive Comittee, will be taking a sabbatical to spend more time with his family in Australia.
The heads of the the three operational divisions of the UK retail business will now report directly to David Atkins, Chief Executive of Hammerson.

Martin Plocica will become Director, UK Shopping Centres; Andrew Berger-North remains Director, Retail Parks and Simon Travis will continue to be responsible for managing Hammerson's investment in Value Retail.
