Arsenal Holdings, the owner of The Arsenal Football Club (AFC), has entered into an agreement for the sale of footballer Alex Song to Futbol Club Barcelona.
Arsenal Holdings, the owner of The Arsenal Football Club (AFC), has entered into an agreement for the sale of footballer Alex Song to Futbol Club Barcelona.
Song, a midfielder, was transferred for £15m reportedly after Arsene Wenger, the club's manager, become frustrated by his lack of commitment in pre-season.
The sale is believed to have been on the cards for some time now, following a breakdown of the player's relationship with AFC over the terms of his contract.

It is understood that Song will bag himself £70,000 a week on his new contract at Barcelona, having earned £55,000 a week with AFC.
