Mulberry names Bruno chief executive
Luxury fashion brand Mulberry has appointed Bruno Guillon, 46, as chief executive, with effect from 1 March 2012.
Luxury fashion brand Mulberry has appointed Bruno Guillon, 46, as chief executive, with effect from 1 March 2012.
Current chief executive and chairman Godfrey Davis will continue as non-executive chairman after a three-month handover to ensure a smooth transition, Mulberry said.
Guillon joins Mulberry from French luxury brand Herms where he spent four year running operations at the group's French subsidiary. He joined Herms in 2001 having previously worked at LVMH and Nina Ricci.

Godfrey Davis commented, "We have planned our management succession carefully and have been actively searching for the right candidate since the beginning of this year. Bruno brings with him a wealth of luxury goods experience and an ability to drive our ambitious plans for international growth."
Mulberry, famous for its Bayswater tote and Alexa satchel, defied retail gloom earlier this month as it posted a 62% surge in half year revenue.
