Budget airline easyjet has reported its passenger statistics for June, which have shown robust growth in customer numbers and the load factor.
Budget airline easyjet has reported its passenger statistics for June, which have shown robust growth in customer numbers and the load factor.
The total number of people booking on flights in the month was 5,434,763, against 4,952,305 in June last year, that's a rise of 9.7%.
The load factor, which shows the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of seats available, rose 1.6 percentage points on the prior year to 89.9%.

Over the 12 months to the end of June the rolling passenger total rose 7.5% to 57,367,315.
The load factor in the rolling 12-month period also rose from 87.1% to 88.7%.
Over the last 12 months, the shares have gained 38%.
