JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust has appointed Ashok Gupta as a Non-Executive Director of the company.
JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust has appointed Ashok Gupta as a Non-Executive Director of the company.
The investment trust announced Friday he would step into the role next January.
Gupta is advisor to the group Chief Executive Officer at Old Mutual and is a member of the FRC Actuarial Council, Chairman of eValueFE and Chairman of Skandia Life UK.

Gupta was a founding director of Pearl Group from 2004 to 2009. He has also held positions with Lloyds of London, CGU Plc, Scottish Amicable, Tillinghast-Towers Perrin and Bacon and Woodrow.
Shares were down 0.80% to 709.50p at 16:35 Friday for the company which has a market capitalisation of £254.41m.
