AIM-listed security solutions firm Westminster Group has issued a chirpy trading update, including news of a new contract in the Middle East and successful operation of an airport contract in west Africa.
AIM-listed security solutions firm Westminster Group has issued a chirpy trading update, including news of a new contract in the Middle East and successful operation of an airport contract in west Africa.
The contract to supply "sophisticated surveillance equipment" to a Middle Eastern government is worth $900,000.
In west Africa the firm claims its airport contract, which has been running for just six weeks, has already discovered contraband and prevented criminal activity. The airport, it claims, has already secured new airline customers as the perception of security has improved.
